The bill also mandates that the state board of education incorporate teen dating violence and sexual violence curriculum into the health curriculum framework, consulting with relevant state departments and advocacy groups to develop age-appropriate content that defines these issues, outlines warning signs, and provides information on available resources, while ensuring that all materials are medically accurate, objective, and inclusive of all students, and that parents have the right to review materials and excuse their children from participation.
