This bill: - Allows military-trained applicants and military spouses to obtain occupational licenses in North Carolina more easily by requiring licensing boards to issue licenses or provide temporary permits within 15 days if the applicant meets certain conditions, such as having an active license in good standing in another jurisdiction and relevant work experience. - Requires occupational licensing boards and state agency licensing boards to report annually on the number of military-trained applicants and military spouses that applied, were granted licenses, and were denied licenses, along with the reasons for any denials. - Establishes the Interstate Compact for Audiology and Speech Pathology, which allows audiologists and speech-language pathologists licensed in their home state to practice in other member states through a "compact privilege" if they meet certain requirements, and creates an administrative commission to oversee the compact.
