This bill, known as the "Save Women's Sports Act," proposes to prohibit biological males from participating in female-only athletic teams or sports in middle schools, high schools, and colleges. It also states that no governmental entity, licensing or accrediting organization, or athletic association can take any adverse action against a school or institution for maintaining separate athletic teams or sports based on biological sex assigned at birth. Additionally, the bill would make public schools, private middle/high schools, and public/private postsecondary institutions ineligible for state funding if they allow biological males to compete in women's sports.
