This bill establishes the Workforce Development Revolving Fund, a continuing fund in the Oklahoma State Treasury, to be used by the Oklahoma Workforce Commission to increase the number of degrees, licenses, certificates, and other credentials granted to fulfill identified workforce needs in the state. The bill appropriates $100 million from the General Revenue Fund for this purpose. It also amends existing law to give the Oklahoma Workforce Commission additional powers, duties, and responsibilities related to workforce development, including administering the new Workforce Development Revolving Fund, collecting and reporting workforce data, and making recommendations to the legislature to improve workforce development programs in the state.
