This bill amends current law to require the Chief Administrator of the New Jersey Motor Vehicle Commission to issue one license plate for each motor vehicle registered in this State. The bill requires that the single license plate be displayed on the rear of the vehicle. The bill specifies that any person who was issued two license plates prior to the effective date of the bill may return one of those plates to the Motor Vehicle Commission.
