This bill requires every employer to post and keep conspicuously posted, in any establishment wherein any employee who customarily and regularly receive tips or gratuities is employed, a printed summary of employee rights under the "New Jersey State Wage and Hour Law," P.L.1966, c.113 (C.34:11-56a et seq.). The printed summary must include information concerning the applicable minimum wage for any employee who customarily and regularly receives tips or gratuities, the applicable overtime minimum wage for any hour worked in excess of 40 hours in any week by an employee who customarily and regularly receives tips or gratuities, and the means by which an employee may report a wage violation against an employer and all other remedies available to an employee whose employer has violated wage and hour requirements under the "New Jersey State Wage and Hour Law," or any other applicable law. The bill provides that the printed summary must be approved by the Commissioner of Labor and Workforce Development, and must be furnished to every employer without charge and suitable for reproduction by the employer.
