The bill requires the Attorney General to provide a means for notification by electronic mail when a sex offender listed on the Internet registry registers a new address in a different county or zip code from the offender's previous address. Members of the public may submit a request to receive this information by electronic mail for up to three counties or zip codes. The notification by electronic mail provided under this bill supplements the current methods of notification.
