This bill requires the Chief Administrator of the New Jersey Motor Vehicle Commission to immediately suspend, without a hearing, the driver's license of a person who has allegedly committed a drunk driving offense resulting in another person's death. The chief administrator is authorized under current law to immediately suspend a person's license under these circumstances, but license suspension is not mandatory. This bill requires license suspension under these circumstances.
