This bill changes provisions relating to improvement districts and extraterritorial zoning jurisdictions for cities of the first class in Nebraska. Specifically, it amends statutes to allow improvement districts to be created under Section 16-624, in addition to Section 16-619. It also modifies the extraterritorial zoning jurisdiction of cities of the first class, reducing it from two miles to one mile beyond the corporate boundaries for certain energy-related purposes, and requiring cities to provide written notice to county boards before adopting or amending zoning ordinances that affect the extraterritorial jurisdiction, with some exceptions.
