AI Summary

This bill amends federal criminal law to prohibit the sale, transfer, possession, or ownership of semiautomatic assault weapons by individuals under the age of 21, with exceptions for active-duty military personnel and full-time law enforcement employees. Specifically, it prohibits licensed gun dealers from selling or delivering semiautomatic assault weapons to anyone under 21, and it prohibits private parties from transferring such weapons to individuals under 21. The bill also makes it unlawful for individuals under 21 to possess or own semiautomatic assault weapons, unless they are qualified individuals such as active-duty military or law enforcement.
