AI Summary
This bill enacts the Reproductive Health Act, which establishes that every individual has the fundamental right to choose or refuse contraception or sterilization, and the fundamental right to choose to carry a pregnancy to term, give birth to a child, or have an abortion. The bill also revises existing provisions of law regarding abortion, including repealing certain criminal offenses related to abortion. The bill aims to prevent the enforcement of laws or regulations that burden abortion access and are not in furtherance of a legitimate state interest in protecting a woman's health.
