AI Summary

This bill clarifies the definition of "imitation weapon" in the general business law. It specifies that an imitation weapon must be colored white, bright red, bright orange, bright yellow, bright green, bright blue, bright pink, or bright purple, be constructed entirely of transparent or translucent materials, have a closed barrel at least one-half inch long (unless it is a water gun), have the manufacturer's name or a trade name legibly stamped on it, and not have a laser pointer attached. The bill also removes the requirement that the imitation weapon be colored other than black, blue, silver, or aluminum, or have an orange stripe on the barrel. The bill aims to clarify the definition of imitation weapons to ensure they are easily distinguishable from real firearms.
