This bill amends Delaware's election laws to allow for same-day voter registration on election day for presidential primary, primary, special, and general elections. The current deadline of the fourth Saturday prior to the election is replaced with the day of the election. Voters can register at their polling place on election day by providing a valid government-issued photo ID or other acceptable form of identification. The bill also specifies that mail-in registration applications received by the deadline will be processed immediately, and that applications updating a voter's address or name can be processed up until the day of the election.
