This bill modifies the vehicle height restriction in Oklahoma. It allows for a maximum vehicle height of 14 feet on any turnpike, interstate, U.S. or state highway, up from the previous limit of 13.5 feet. Additionally, the bill holds operators and owners of vehicles exceeding the posted height limits liable for any damages caused. The bill will become effective on July 1, 2019, and an emergency clause has been declared to make it effective immediately upon passage and approval.
