This bill creates the Oklahoma Medical Marijuana and Patient Protection Act. It establishes the Oklahoma Medical Marijuana Authority within the State Department of Health to administer the state's medical marijuana program, including issuing patient and business licenses, and regulating the cultivation, processing, testing, transporting, and sale of medical marijuana. The bill sets standards for medical marijuana packaging, labeling, and testing, creates a medical marijuana research license and education facility license, and protects the rights of medical marijuana patients and caregivers. The bill also amends the Oklahoma Standards for Workplace Drug and Alcohol Testing Act to address medical marijuana use by employees.
