This bill creates the Open Public Records Act (OPRA) Study Commission to examine how OPRA is being implemented and utilized in practice. The commission will then make recommendations to the Legislature and Governor on improving, expanding, and facilitating OPRA. The commission is required to submit its findings and recommendations within one year of its initial meeting.
