This bill authorizes the issuance of permits to hunt with a crossbow during archery or firearms hunting seasons for individuals who are certified by a licensed physician or physician assistant to have a documented permanent condition that severely limits their ability to draw and hold a bow, or who are 70 years of age or older. The bill also requires the Department of Fish, Wildlife, and Parks to report annually to the Environmental Quality Council on the hunting with crossbows authorized under this new provision.
