This bill amends the environmental conservation law to provide lifetime sportsman licenses (which include hunting, fishing, and turkey permits) for honorably discharged, disabled veterans with a 40% or greater service-connected disability. The cost of these lifetime licenses for disabled veterans is $20, significantly lower than the regular fees which range from $380 to $765 depending on the licensee's age. The bill also allows the holder of a lifetime hunting or fishing license to convert it to a lifetime sportsman license for an additional fee.
