This bill amends the Public Health Law to apply a special Medicaid rate for individuals returning from incarceration who are residing in nursing homes or other facilities that provide long-term nursing or medical services. Specifically, it adds these facilities or discrete units within facilities to the list of categories that are eligible to receive rates no less than equivalent to the rates in effect on December 31, 2006, trended forward for inflation.
