AI Summary

This bill directs the Department of the Interior to conduct a land exchange with the San Bernardino Valley Water Conservation District in California. Specifically, the bill requires the Interior Secretary to convey 327 acres of federal land administered by the Bureau of Land Management to the district, and accept in exchange 310 acres of district-owned land. The bill also allows for the transfer of additional federal and non-federal parcels as necessary to equalize the fair market values of the exchanged lands. The bill exempts the exchanged lands from the Act of February 20, 1909, and provides the district with continued rights to use the non-federal lands for groundwater recharge activities, subject to certain habitat conservation plans. Finally, the bill cancels a 1929 Secretarial Order that had withdrawn a portion of the federal land for an unconstructed transmission line.
