This bill directs the Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles to develop a Palm Beach Zoo and Conservation Society license plate. The annual use fees from the sale of these plates will fund educational programs for students, conservation projects to protect endangered species, and services for the health and welfare of animals in the zoo's care. The Palm Beach Zoo and Conservation Society may use up to 10% of the annual use fee revenue for promotion, marketing, and administrative costs associated with the specialty license plate and the organization's programs. The bill will take effect on October 1, 2019, but only if similar legislation is adopted in the same legislative session or an extension thereof and becomes law.
