This bill amends the Alaska Statutes to address conflicts of interest for members of the Board of Fisheries and the Board of Game. Specifically, the bill allows these board members to deliberate and participate in matters where they or their immediate family have a personal or financial interest related to fish or game resources, as long as they disclose the interest. However, the board member would not be allowed to vote on such matters if their involvement would result in a violation of the state's conflict of interest laws. The bill also makes some other minor changes to the state's conflict of interest statutes.
