AI Summary

This bill aims to enhance prescription drug price transparency in Massachusetts. It requires the Health Policy Commission, in consultation with the Center, to create an annual list of 10 drugs with significant cost increases for the state's MassHealth program. It also requires health insurance carriers with over 5,000 covered lives to create a similar list of 10 drugs with significant cost increases for their plans. The Attorney General's office will then identify up to 15 drugs from these lists and require the manufacturers to provide information and documentation to justify the cost increases. The Attorney General will then report this information to the legislature annually.
