This bill amends Chapter 265 of the General Laws by inserting a new Section 22D. The key provisions are: 1. Individuals convicted three or more times of certain sexual offenses, including violations of sections 13B, 13B½, 13F, 13H, 22, 22A, 22B, 22C, 23, 23A, 23B, 24, 24B, 26, 26C, 26D or 44 of Chapter 265, or like violations of the laws of another state, the United States, or a military, territorial or Indian tribal authority, shall be punished by imprisonment in the state prison for life. 2. The sentence imposed on such individuals shall not be reduced, suspended, or eligible for probation, parole, work release, or furlough, and they shall not receive any deduction from their sentence for good conduct. 3. In any prosecution under this section, the introduction of certified court papers or records of the defendant's prior convictions shall be prima facie evidence of the prior convictions, and the Commonwealth shall not be required to provide additional corroborating evidence or live witness testimony.
