This bill prohibits employers from prohibiting employees with a valid permit from carrying, transporting, or possessing a firearm or ammunition in their locked motor vehicle on the employer's real property, as long as the firearm and ammunition are out of sight and the carrying, transportation, or possession is otherwise lawful. The bill also provides immunity to the employer, owner, or lawful possessor of the property from any claim, cause of action, or lawsuit brought by any person seeking damages allegedly resulting from a firearm or ammunition brought onto the property by an employee pursuant to this bill.
