This bill amends the Texas Health and Safety Code to require the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) to establish a system to automatically provide reminders to public drinking water supply systems about their regular reporting requirements under the federal Safe Drinking Water Act and state laws. The automatic reminders are a courtesy, and public drinking water supply systems are still responsible for complying with the reporting requirements regardless of whether they receive the reminders from TCEQ.
