This bill amends Title 75 (Vehicles) of the Pennsylvania Consolidated Statutes to further regulate parking near on-street pedestrian plazas and pedalcycle (bicycle) lanes. It requires vehicles parked along the curb to be positioned in the direction of traffic and within 12 inches of the buffer area between the parking and the pedestrian or bike lane. The bill also allows local authorities to limit access to disabled parking spaces, charge fees, and impose fines for violations. The bill takes effect 60 days after enactment.
