This bill modifies the school quality and student success indicator used to assess the performance of schools serving students in grades 9-12. It adds two new measures: the percentage of students who either achieve the minimum score required for admission into a UNC constituent institution on a college readiness test or are enrolled in Career and Technical Education (CTE) courses and score at Silver, Gold, or Platinum levels on a workplace readiness test. These new measures will be included in the annual school report card. The bill also allows lottery prize winners of $50 million or more to request confidentiality of their identities for 90 days after claiming the prize.
