AI Summary

This bill modifies Ohio's weapons law, including changes to concealed carry licenses. The key provisions are: - Renames a "concealed handgun license" as a "concealed weapons license" that allows the licensee to carry concealed all deadly weapons not otherwise prohibited by law. - Repeals a requirement for licensees to promptly inform law enforcement officers that they are carrying a concealed weapon when stopped. - Authorizes expungement of convictions for violating the repealed notice requirement. - Allows a person 21 or older who is not prohibited from possessing firearms to carry a concealed deadly weapon without a license, subject to the same laws as a licensee. - Corrects a definition of "dangerous ordnance" that was mistakenly changed in a prior bill. The bill is intended to make Ohio's concealed carry law compliant with federal requirements and eliminate certain restrictions on licensees.
