This bill authorizes the Secretary of Health and Human Services to award grants to eligible entities, such as state/local health or education agencies, nonprofits, and Tribal organizations, to support the access of marginalized youth (those disadvantaged by structural barriers and social inequity) to sexual health services. The grants can be used to provide medically accurate and age-appropriate sexual health information, promote effective communication, support school-age parents, and train individuals working with marginalized youth on topics like pregnancy and STI prevention, healthy relationships, and safe environments. The Secretary must prioritize applicants with a history of supporting marginalized youth and those planning to serve youth not reached by federal adolescent programs. Grantees must partner with a community organization and agree to use scientifically effective strategies, provide linguistically and culturally appropriate information, and submit annual reports.
