This bill amends the Executive Law to create a public database of all projects funded in the state budget. The database will include the dollar amount allocated to each project and the last name of the legislator who submitted the funding request. The database will be published online on the Division of Budget website and updated annually when the state budget is passed. The bill also requires the database to include any funds allocated to private organizations that are not otherwise required by law to disclose their funding sources.
