This bill establishes the Integrated Student Supports Program and the Integrated Student Supports Fund to remove academic and non-academic barriers to learning and enhance student success, decrease dropout rates, and increase graduation rates in Pennsylvania public schools. The Department of Education will designate a third-party nonprofit organization to provide evidence-based community school services to public school entities. The bill creates a fund to provide grants to public school entities to implement approved strategic plans for integrated student supports, which must include a dedicated space for the provider. The organization providing the services must submit annual reports on outcomes for case-managed students, including grade promotion, graduation rates, attendance, behavior, and academics, which will be published on the Department of Education's website. The bill takes effect immediately.
