This bill amends Pennsylvania's Crimes and Offenses law to further restrict the possession, use, manufacture, control, sale, or transfer of firearms by individuals convicted of certain enumerated offenses or who meet other specified criteria. The bill expands the list of disqualifying offenses, imposes enhanced penalties for repeat offenders or those in physical possession of a firearm during the commission of a violation, and provides for sentencing enhancements. The bill also clarifies that attempts, solicitations, or conspiracies to commit the enumerated offenses are also disqualifying. This bill is intended to strengthen restrictions on firearm access for individuals with a history of violent or serious criminal behavior.
