This bill amends the Pennsylvania Construction Code Act to require the installation and maintenance of at least one adult changing station for persons with disabilities or special health care issues or the elderly in public buildings or facilities, State-owned buildings, and health care facilities. The bill defines "adult changing station" as a private, enclosed family or assisted-use toilet facility containing an adult changing table, and specifies requirements for the size and weight capacity of the changing table. The bill also requires signage to indicate the location of the adult changing stations. The bill applies to buildings constructed or altered after certain effective dates, and defines "public building or facility," "health care facility," and "State-owned buildings" for the purposes of the bill.
