This bill amends Title 15 (Corporations and Unincorporated Associations) of the Pennsylvania Consolidated Statutes to make domestic and foreign nonprofit corporations with 200 or more employees in the Commonwealth ineligible for state contracts, funding, or grants if they have violated the Fair Labor Standards Act or been found guilty of an unfair labor practice in the Commonwealth within the previous five years. The bill also requires these corporations to have at least 20% of their governing board members be current employees elected by the employees. The provisions do not apply to health care-related payments, such as Medicaid reimbursements, or to violations that occurred prior to the effective date of the bill.
