This bill removes the expiration date of a requirement for the Agency for Health Care Administration to make Medicaid payments for covered services retroactively for eligible children, pregnant women, and nonpregnant adults. Specifically, it maintains the existing policy of providing up to 90 days of retroactive Medicaid coverage for eligible children and pregnant women, as well as retroactive coverage to the first day of the month an application is submitted for eligible nonpregnant adults, without the previously scheduled expiration of this provision on July 1, 2020.
