This bill amends Section 100C of Chapter 276 to clarify that sealed criminal records shall not be admissible in evidence or used in any court proceedings, except in certain limited circumstances, such as when a party has reasonable cause to believe the information may be relevant to issues of child custody or visitation, abuse, or safety. Additionally, the bill strikes out Sections 100Q and 100T and inserts new sections that prohibit the disclosure of sealed or expunged records and require the Commissioner to notify the FBI and Department of Justice to seal or expunge those records.
