This bill revises the initial scholarship eligibility criteria for the Family Empowerment Scholarship Program, including allowing students who previously received the Florida Tax Credit Scholarship to be eligible. It also revises the eligibility criteria for the Florida Tax Credit Scholarship Program, prioritizing students from low-income households or in foster/out-of-home care. Additionally, the bill creates a minimum base annual salary allocation to assist school districts in providing a minimum base annual salary of $47,500 for full-time public school classroom teachers. It also establishes two new programs: the Rewarding Great Classroom Teachers for Extending Student Success Program and the Rewarding Great Principals for Extending Student Success Program, which provide financial awards to teachers and principals at public schools that demonstrate improvements in student success.
