This bill directs the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) to include data on certain maternal health outcomes, as recommended by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), in its broadband health mapping tool. The tool allows users to visualize, overlay, and analyze broadband and health data at national, state, and county levels. Additionally, the bill requires the Government Accountability Office (GAO) to study the effectiveness of internet connectivity in reducing maternal morbidity rates and who is best suited to ensure better internet connectivity to reduce maternal morbidity rates.
