This bill requires the Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA) to publish an annual report identifying the health care services with the most significant price variation both statewide and regionally. It also revises the definition of "shoppable health care service" to include any additional services published by AHCA that have the most significant price variation. Additionally, the bill allows health insurers and health maintenance organizations to reward insured individuals directly with cash or a cash equivalent when they obtain a shoppable health care service, rather than requiring the incentive to be credited to their account in a manner that does not constitute income.
