This bill amends existing law to provide for game tags for swan, to revise provisions regarding upland game bird permits, and to revise hunter orange requirements regarding certain locations. Specifically, it adds "swan" to the list of wildlife for which residents and nonresidents can obtain game tags. It also revises the "Wildlife Management Area (WMA) Upland Game Bird Permit" to an "Upland Game Bird Permit" that must be purchased by all persons over 17 years of age prior to hunting stocked upland game birds on state wildlife management areas and other locations designated by the commission. Additionally, it revises the hunter orange requirement from being in effect only on wildlife management areas where pheasants are stocked to being in effect on any locations where the commission requires an upland game bird permit.
