This bill provides for two single, additional, non-cumulative benefit payments to eligible individuals receiving retirement benefits under the Wyoming Retirement Act, the Wyoming State Highway Patrol, Game and Fish Warden and Criminal Investigator Retirement Act, and the Firemen's Pension Account Reform Act of 1981. The bill also requires the Wyoming Retirement System Board to review the findings underlying a 2012 law that restricted cost-of-living adjustments and other benefit increases, and report to the legislature on the effects of inflation, social security eligibility, and plan funding ratios, with recommendations on potential benefit adjustments. The bill appropriates general funds to cover the cost of the initial additional benefit payments.
