To improve augmentative and alternative communication opportunities for children with disabilities

This bill aims to improve augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) opportunities for children with disabilities. It requires the state's education board to make available an optional program to train and prepare regular education teachers in the use of AAC for students who are nonverbal or have limited speech.
