This bill requires the President to report on the estimated total funds held in domestic and international financial institutions by certain Iranian leaders, including the Supreme Leader, the President, and other senior officials in the Iranian government and security forces. The bill also requires the Department of the Treasury to brief Congress on any illicit or corrupt means employed by these individuals to acquire or use such funds. The bill includes exemptions and waivers for the reporting requirements in certain situations, and it will sunset after 3 years or if the President determines that Iran is no longer a jurisdiction of primary money laundering concern or is providing significant cooperation to the United States.
