This bill establishes the Council on LGBTQI Minnesotans, prohibits health care professionals from engaging in conversion therapy with minors or vulnerable adults, prohibits Medical Assistance coverage for conversion therapy, and prohibits the misrepresentation of conversion therapy services or products. The bill also clarifies that the discovery of, knowledge about, or potential disclosure of a victim's sexual orientation is not a defense for acts of violence or a basis for provocation in manslaughter cases.
