To amend title 5, United States Code, to lower health care costs for part-time Transportation Security Administration employees and allow Transportation Security Administration employees to change health care plans, and for other purposes. This bill allows employees of the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) to enroll or change their enrollment in a health insurance plan during a national emergency, such as the COVID-19 (i.e., coronavirus disease 2019) pandemic, and during the 30-day period following the end of the emergency. The bill also increases the biweekly government contribution towards health insurance plans for part-time TSA employees to match that contributed for full-time employees.
