This bill authorizes the town of Plainville to grant five additional licenses for the sale of all alcoholic beverages to be consumed on the premises. The licenses are restricted to two specific zoned development areas in the town - three licenses for the Route 1 Corridor and two licenses for the Central Business District/Downtown Area. The licenses can only be used in the dining room of a Common Victualer establishment and other approved public areas. The licenses cannot be transferred outside of the designated zoned areas, but can be reissued to new applicants within the same zoned areas if the previous license holder is no longer using it. All licenses must be issued within two years of the bill's effective date.
