This bill establishes the Retirement Savings Lost and Found, an online mechanism managed by the Director of the Retirement Savings Lost and Found, to help individuals locate plan administrators of retirement plans in which they participate or are entitled to benefits. It requires plan administrators to report more detailed information about participants and beneficiaries, including those who have had mandatory distributions or deferred annuity contracts. The bill also expands the cap on mandatory rollovers, allows plans to transfer smaller amounts to the Retirement Savings Lost and Found or an individual retirement account, and creates an Office of the Retirement Savings Lost and Found to administer the program.
