This bill provides for a program of capital investments for public safety, governmental infrastructure, information technology and data and cyber-security improvements to various state programs, services, agencies, institutions, and properties. It authorizes the issuance of up to $650 million in bonds to fund these projects, which include improvements to state technology infrastructure, cybersecurity upgrades, online unemployment benefit delivery systems, school technology initiatives, municipal broadband projects, and public safety equipment and facilities. The bill also extends the availability of certain existing bond-funded spending authorizations through June 30, 2024.
