AI Summary
This bill temporarily prohibits landlords in Virginia from terminating rental agreements or evicting tenants, except in response to criminal or willful acts that pose a health or safety threat, until 60 days after the expiration or revocation of all COVID-19-related states of emergency declared by the Governor. The bill requires landlords to provide tenants with information about rental assistance programs and take steps to apply for such assistance on the tenant's behalf before being able to terminate a rental agreement or evict a tenant.
